At age 93 I so much enjoyed seeing photos of Pilgrim Camp from days gone by, and seeing pictures of many of my old friends who have gone home to be with the Lord.

My first experience at Pilgrim Camp was sometime in the early 50's and what really impressed me the most was the wonderful speakers in every meeting who encouraged us in our Christian walk. The two who stand out most in my memory were Brother Gordon and Sister Caroline.

In later years I was priviledged to work at Pilgrim Camp for three seasons; twice in the Cottage I taught the little boys and once doing housekeeping with Alice Blum. In the morning I awakened the little boys by going door to door playing my harmonica. Before coming to Texas I bumped into one young man at RPC who told me he still remembered me doing that.

The little boys caught snakes, put them in containers and hid them under the cottage. Some nights Brother Sailer came and let all the snakes out, and the next morning the boys wondered what happened to all their snakes. We always had a wonderful time at the beach.

Thank you for this web site and giving me the opportunity to take a walk down Memory Lane once again.

God be with you until we meet again.
